kind of breathtaking.

btw: Recoleta is the rich area. it looks JUST like NYC. the streets. the corners littered with flyers. the architecture. the only difference is that there aren’t tons of people walking around. people move slowly here. it’s actually a bit frustrating. :)

10 Days LEFT.

I’m so sorry all! I’ve been slacking on my post habits, but I promise when I get home to the computer, I’ll post away. for now I just wanna update you all and say my trip has been great so far.
I’m bittersweet. part of me wants to stay and keep training in ballet here because I love the teacher and the people are so sweet in the class. but the other part wants to come home to family, University, and some friends.

I enjoy speaking Spanish daily. it’s great brain work. I just have to not think while speaking cuz then I pause and I sound like an idiot. but I can understand everything completely. score!

It’s gonna be weird to come home to everything english.

at times, I’m ready.
other times, I’m sad to go. I’ve gotten accustomed to the house, the people, the stares on the subway, hearing my teachers voice, cooking in the apt., being on my own, all that.

I’m ready to come home and GO HARD. but my plan is to return the same time next summer to keep training with ChiChi, but for 3 months. as soon as school is out, I’m heading back.
then, I think after I graduate, I might come back for a year and train. then come back home and audition for a bunch of companies.
that’s If nothing else comes up between now and graduation (the year plan).
I just gotta save my money. immediately. when I get back I’m gonna go hard, work, and save money to come back. I’m so motivated because I’ve gotten SO MUCH BETTER in merely ONE MONTH, now I’m just fine tuning. imagine what a whole year would do….
I can do it.
I just need to not slack when I get back in the states.
stretching daily. having my parents help me. sleep in a straddle position. all of that. work hard. it only hurts for a little bit, then once you get past that point, you become a beast.
I’m a beast.

so with these last 10 days remaining, I’m going SUPER hard. continuing to work hard. eat correctly. keepin my head HERE IN BSAS and NOT thinking about the US, cuz I know when I get home I’ll miss this place.

I’ll post up some random pics of travels later.
this weekend is a long weekend because of Día de Los Niños and there’s a holiday Monday, so no classes.

I promise I’ll post.
